Bi-Directional Acceleration without Software Installation

Stampede's Acceleration On-Demand client technology is the first client software to be automatically injected into a Web page, providing full support for bi-directional acceleration of both legacy HTTP/HTTPS applications and the New Enterprise Web Applications using Web 2.0, SOA and AJAX; all without installing software on the end-user's device.

All previous acceleration solutions that provided a two-sided approach to acceleration required software to be installed, or hardware appliances to be deployed at remote locations.  With Acceleration On-Demand, Stampede now provides the same level of superior client-based acceleration without touching end-user devices.  This saves time, and eliminates deployment and management expenses.  In addition, since software or hardware is not installed, it is now easy to accelerate applications that are key to your interaction with partners, suppliers and even customers. 

Support for AJAX Applications

Since Stampede's Acceleration On-Demand technology is automatically injected into a Web page, new applications developed with the AJAX model benefit dramatically without any special programming or configuration.  The rich user experience provide by AJAX applications put increased burdens on the network. Application developers are not network experts, and with Acceleration On-Demand, they do not need to be concerned about the network intrusive nature of these applications.

Stampede Application Acceleration Series and the Stampede Web 2.0 Performance Series

With Acceleration On-Demand, and either the Stampede Application Acceleration Series or the Stampede Web 2.0 Performance Series solutions, networks and applications realize the performance and bandwidth savings of:

• Bi-directional Compression
  The amount of data transferred between clients and servers is dramatically reduced
  

• Cache Differencing
  The Acceleration On-Demand client software and the Stampede appliance maintain a coherent copy of the browser's cache, and only transfer the dynamic changes across the network, dramatically reducing network traffic

• SSL Client-side Termination
  With Stampede's patent pending technology, even SSL data can be accelerated by terminating the transaction at the client, applying our acceleration techniques, and re-encrypting the information to securely transfer it across the network

• Acceleration of Compressed or Encrypted Objects with TurboStreaming
  Even highly compressed or encrypted objects can be transmitted up to 5 times faster through intelligent TCP multiplexing
