Q. Can I full text index auto zipped attachments?
A. Yes. The TurboGold AutoZip client provides built in capability that allows autozipped attachments to be full-text indexed. The AutoZip Server utility also allows full-text indexing of autozipped attachments after storage is reclaimed.
Q. What does TurboGold AutoZip's caching capabilities do?
A. Users usually and often refer back to documents repeatedly. That is why we built in the unique ability to cache documents and attachments. The caching feature of TurboGold AutoZip is 100% transparent and can have a dramatic impact on network performance even for LAN connected users. Caching allows both storing of Notes documents and attachments into a disk cache when they are first accessed. Repeated access to the same data is satisfied from cache reducing the burden on your Domino server and your network.
TurboGold AutoZip allows you to set the size of the cache and where you would like the directory. TurboGold AutoZip also lets the administrator choose what types of files to be excluded from being AutoZip.
