Stampede Single-sided and Two-sided Solutions

Stampede's FX Series product family is based on a single platform that supports all WAN environments as a single-sided Application Delivery Controller (ADC), or two-sided WAN Optimization Controller (WOC).

As a single-sided solution, the FX2000 or FX4000 Series located in the data center (NOC or head-end), offer connection management to offload web and application servers (handling SSL termination and processing, outbound JPEG image reduction, transaction load balancing, outbound GZIP compression, data caching, application firewalling and URL Access Control).

In a two-sided implementation, The FX Series offers three solutions; the FX2000 or FX4000 at the data center (NOC or head-end), and the following remote options; Client software, Acceleration On-Demand or the FX1000 Series Branch Office appliance. The FX Series two-sided solution improves performance further through:

Bi-directional data compression
TCP and HTTP/HTTPS turn reduction

Multiplexing large compressed or encrypted data objects (TurboStreaming)
