Q. Can TurboGold AutoZip installation be automated to not require user intervention?
A. Yes. TurboGold AutoZip has been designed for massive deployment by editing a simple text based answer file that is then included with a customized install image. This is installed with one mouse click.
Q. We have a large multi-organization Domino enterprise, I would like to roll-out TurboGold AutoZip for a subset of all the users in our domain, and can AutoZip be configured to handle this?
A. Yes. TurboGold AutoZip has a powerful set of easy-to-configure rules to allow attachments to be auto-zipped only when the recipients of an email have TurboGold AutoZip installed.
Q. We plan to consolidate servers onto either AIX or AS400 Domino servers, will TurboGold AutoZip and Stampede's other solutions support these platforms?
A. The TurboGold AutoZip client works at the client and has no dependency on the server platform. The TurboGold AutoZip server utility which allows reclamation of disk space is available for iSeries and pSeries platforms with our TurboGold Enterprise Edition.
Q. Does the TurboGold AutoZip software require any special client/server software or configuration?
A. No. A truly transparent and automatic solution, the TurboGold AutoZip requires no additional software or configuration changes on browser clients or origin/application servers and requires no changes in origin/application server pages.
Q. How do I disable TurboGold AutoZip for a single document?
A. When attaching a document, Notes automatically displays the “Create Attachment(s)” dialog box. In the lower right corner of this dialog box is a "Compress" switch which is on by default. For a single document uncheck this box and TurboGold AutoZip will not engage.
