Policy Based Management

TurboGold’s Policy Based Management is a powerful tool that allows Network Administrators to control how TurboGold applies its acceleration policy options like multicasting, traffic shaping, and replication to individual databases. It helps manage and control the acceleration and delivery of database traffic in a Notes/Domino enterprise. These settings can be automatically distributed throughout the network ensuring consistent policies across the enterprise.

Policy options can be set for the following acceleration services and traffic control:

• Replication between Domino servers, Notes clients and iNotes synchronization
• Mail routing between Domino servers and from native Notes clients
• Online access to Domino databases from native Notes clients
• HTTP access to iNotes and QuickPlace databases
• Multicast database updates to subscribers
• Set priorities for distribution of Notes/Domino databases (Traffic Shaping)
