Leading IBM Lotus Notes and IBM Lotus Domino Accelerator Now Available for the Mainframe

(DAYTON, Ohio-January 28, 2002)—Stampede Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of accelerator software for IBM Lotus Notes® and IBM Lotus Domino™ enterprises, today announced the availability of TurboGold Client-to-Server accelerator software for the IBM eServer z900 and IBM Series z900 and S/390 servers. This release completes the set of key components of TurboGold, which offers online attachment compression, offline acceleration of design element replication, and acceleration support for IBM Lotus iNotes™ users. With this new addition to the TurboGold product family, Stampede enhances IBM Lotus Notes performance for an estimated two million end-users, providing performance gains of up to 5-to-1 or better, depending on delivery method and content.
