STAMPEDE TECHNOLOGIES NAMES ROBERT COURTNEY AS VICE PRESIDENT OF NORTH AMERICAN SALES

Dayton, Ohio, May 23, 2006 – Stampede® Technologies, Inc., (www.stampede.com) a leading provider of enterprise acceleration solutions, today announced the appointment of Robert J. Courtney, Jr. as Vice President of North American Sales.

Mr. Courtney has over 27 years of experience in the areas of sales, marketing and business development.  He comes to Stampede from Ross Group Inc. where he was Vice President of Business Development since 2002.  

Prior to joining the Ross Group, Mr. Courtney was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Clickguide, Inc., and President and CEO of CrystalGraphics Inc.  Mr. Courtney’s career also includes 20 years of senior leadership positions at NCR Corporation.  After starting his career as an Executive Assistant to the CEO, Mr. Courtney steadily advanced through NCR as Director of Planning, Director of OEM Sales for the U.S., Assistant Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Sales Productivity and Vice President of Internet Commerce Solutions.

Mr. Courtney has an MBA in Finance and Business Analysis from Miami University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University.
