STAMPEDE TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY AND FIRST INSTALLATIONS OF ACCELERATION ON-DEMAND TECHNOLOGY

New delivery model for client software improves usability and deployment options for enterprise application acceleration

Dayton, Ohio, September 19, 2006 – Stampede® Technologies, Inc. (www.stampede.com), a leading provider of enterprise acceleration solutions, announced today the immediate availability of its latest innovation in client technology, Acceleration On-Demand™. Acceleration OnDemand is the industry’s first solution that enables enterprises to fully leverage bi-directional acceleration without the need to install hardware or software at remote locations. Several large customers with thousands of end-users have been testing Acceleration On-Demand throughout the summer.

The Stampede Application Acceleration Series™ with Acceleration On-Demand delivers acceleration through the use of a two-sided architecture to maximize performance. By using hardware appliances and software client technology, Stampede is able to provide a strategic solution that offers functionality typically requiring hardware appliances in all locations. The Stampede Application Acceleration Series offers acceleration and WAN optimization for traditional HTTP/HTTPS, legacy TCP and emerging Web 2.0/AJAX applications. In addition, Stampede’s solutions offer application front-end services for Firewalling, Load Balancing and server off-loading of TCP connection management and SSL processing.

Stampede’s Acceleration On-Demand client is available now with the Stampede Application Acceleration Series. Client licensing starts at $35 for a single license, and appliance pricing starts at $40,000.
