SSL Offloading

Stampede's appliances terminate SSL sessions from clients, but retrieve content from enterprise application servers through a non-SSL channel.  By performing this session termination on the appliance,  the task of encryption is removed from the enterprise server, freeing up valuable processing resources. The Stampede appliance uses multiple SSL certificates, selecting the proper certificate based on the application being accessed, and supports multiple termination points as well as tunneling.
