SSL Offloading
Stampede's FX Series appliances terminate SSL sessions from clients, and also retrieve content from web and application servers through a non-SSL channel. By performing this session termination on the FX Series appliance, the task of encryption is removed from the server, freeing up valuable processing resources. The FX Series appliance uses multiple SSL certificates, selecting the proper certificate based on the application being accessed, and supports multiple termination points - as well as tunneling.
