Traffic Shaping Management

TurboGold's Traffic Shaping Management ensures on-time delivery of time-critical information by allowing specific port assignments to be established at the database level. This added functionality lets Network Administrators guarantee the "Quality of Service" for Notes / Domino applications. TurboGold's Traffic Shaping also permits the tracking of bandwidth usage by individual and/or department leading to greater control and efficiency.

TurboGold Enterprise Edition provides Traffic Shaping for client-to-server replication, server-to-server replication, client on-line access both through browsers or iNotes clients, mail routing, as well as TurboGold's multicasting capabilities. All configuration options for Traffic Shaping are under the control of the Network Administrator and entered on the TurboGold verifier. No changes in configuration or operation are required on the TurboGold client. External traffic shaping hardware such as Packeteer is required.
