Q. What is the TurboGold Manager?

A. The TurboGold Manager allows a Network Administrator to view the performance of the TurboGold verifiers. The TurboGold Manager displays real-time statistics showing the level of compression and byte savings that are occurring between the Lotus Notes client and the Domino servers of all users currently connected to the TurboGold verifier(s).

Q. What information is important in the TurboGold Manager’s statistics screen?

A. All values are displayed in real-time and reflect the activity performed by all users who have or are currently connected to the verifier. Some of the most important information available to the Network Administrator includes:

• Name and status of each TurboGold verifier.
• Number and identity of all users connected.
• Peak values for “connections” and “replications” which will help determine if another verifier is required for more efficient load balancing.
• Actual size in KB of all databases replicated prior to TurboGold compressing the data (Bytes Requested). In this example 38,029 KB.
• Actual byte savings in KB from TurboGold’s acceleration features (Bytes Saved). In this example 24,558 KB did not have to be replicated, a 64% savings reflected in the progress bar.
